Christmas Tree Farm

Christmas trees signify light and the celebration of life.
As a tradition, Christians enjoy decorating trees during the holiday season to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, who gave us eternal life.
During Christmas time volunteers sell five types of evergreens, which are grown on the grounds of the monastery.
Local residents and Korean volunteers join together in selling these freshly cut Christmas trees.
Visiting the tree farm has become a festive, yearly tradition for many Christian families as they choose a tree for their homes.
The piney, aromatic scents of these beautiful trees spread throughout our homes, echoing the spread of the word of God throughout society.
Our faith in the Lord is heightened through the love that is put into growing each Christmas tree.

겨울에 크리스마스 나무를 판매하고 있다.
크리스마스 나무농장에서는 다섯가지 각기 다른 종류의 나무들이 있다.
크리스마스 나무는 전통적으로 빛과 생명을 경축하는 푸른 나무를 상징하고 있다.
신자들은 크리스마스 나무를 장식하여 우리에게 영원한 생명을 주러 세상에 오신
그리스도의 탄생을 기뻐하는 전통을 가지고 있다.
판매시기에는 한인 동포와 미국 신자들이 매주일 농장을 찾아와 나무 판매에 도움을 주고 있다.
농장은 눈 덮인 대지에 찬란히 빛나는 태양 빛 아래 성탄 나무를 구입하러 온 할아버지와 아이들이 함께 어우러진 축제 장소가 되고 있다.
크리스마스 나무 향기처럼 그리스도의 향기가 곳곳으로 퍼져나가
그리스도께서 주시는 새로운 희망이 샘솟아 오르기를 수도형제들은 기도한다.

* Cars are NOT allowed outside parking area

* Hand saw are available. Please return when finished.

* DO NOT CUT large ornamental trees along roads or near buildings.
